After almost a week of Senior Project I got to know pretty well both the 3 classes I work with.
On Mondays and Tuesdays I "teach" to children of 3 years old while on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays I "teach" to 4 years old kids. Although they are just a year apart, the difference is huge!! These children, while unique in someway, are similar in others. Every student wants lots of attention and needs to share his/her story. As children they don't have any barrier and as they feel they can trust you, they completely lean on you.

In the afternoon I "teach" to children with needs. It is pretty challenging but interesting. They are more sensitive and it is important to establish a good relationship with children so that they can improve their academic and personal skills, and eventually get better.

In all the classes described above, music is an important part. Teachers continually try to involve students with songs and rhythms. This seems to help their learning and communication progress.
