Stuck Indoors

When I first arrived at Brandon’s house, I immediately saw him limping to say hello to me before we started our day because of the marathon he ran the day before (kudos to him). With this being said, I knew that we weren’t going to be going out and work today, so we stayed in and watched a documentary, along with compiling some clips together and starting our voice-overs. We watched the film, Lost Angels, a documentary about the homeless population in Los Angeles, especially in the area called, “Skid Row”. A pretty moving documentary and structured a little bit different than the other documentary’s that we have watched because it ended on a happy note, instead of a bad one. A major part of our documentary will consist of Brandon and I talking over the documentaries trailers, discussing the techniques used to sway the viewers and also tell a little bit about the film. Today we started the voice-overs for Blackfish and Loose Change (A documentary about the 9/11 conspiracy). Overall, nothing to exciting happened today, and will likely be the same tomorrow as Brandon heals himself. However, there is a lot to be done and tomorrow is definitely a good time to get it done.

  1. I'm enjoying the ever-expanding list of documentaries that you and Brandon are watching. Despite the recuperation time for Brandon, it seems like you both are still being productive. Carry on!

  2. I hope Brandon feels better! It seems like even though you guys didnt have the busiest day, you still made good progress. I'm sure the documentary you watched was very touching. Seems like you have a whole range of different documentaries you are watching which makes your project really cool!
